PULSAR
PULSAR stands for Police, Public Educators, and Peers Utilizing the Leadership Skills of Students at Risk. PULSAR focuses on relationship building activities that promote positive social bonds between school and community facilitators. It is also PULSAR's intention to break down the barriers that typically exist between law enforcement officials, educators and students.
The Wilderness Conservancy At Mountain Lake supports and hosts the PULSAR retreat program which serves to reinforce a sense of cooperation within the broader community. While staying at Mountain Lake, participants of the PULSAR program are able to build and strengthen these relationships in a natural setting and incorporate an awareness of the surrounding environment. The Wilderness Conservancy also happens to be the home of Captain PULSAR himself!
